Every piece passes through my hands before it reaches your table.
A note on timing
There isn't quite enough time.
But there may still be a way.
This piece needs a little longer than the time remaining before your chosen date. I would rather tell you now than rush the work or deliver it late. That said, please read on, because it is not always a no.
The making
Every piece is made by hand, by me, in my Essex studio. Nothing is held in stock and nothing is sent out to a factory.
After you order, a digital proof comes to you. You approve it. Only then is anything cut, poured, printed or gilded.
That approval is not a formality. It is what stands between a misspelt name and eighty place cards on the morning of your celebration.
What can still happen
Ask me anyway. Some dates are tighter on paper than in practice, and much depends on what is already in the studio that week. Tell me below and I will answer honestly, usually the same day.
Or choose a piece with a shorter making time. Several can be ready within a week to ten days, including the shaped menus, the place cards and the keepsake pouches. Browse the collection.
Tell me about your date
I read every one of these myself.
